The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences or NATAS is branch of the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences based in New York City. This organization works in cooperation with the Los Angeles based ATAS to administer the Daytime Emmy Awards.

Like ATAS, this organization also distributes a special Governor's Award for Excellence.

NATAS also administers the Public Service Emmy Awards in which honor programming (such as public service announcements) which advances the common good.

The whirligig beetles are a family (Gyrinidae) of water beetles that normally live on the surface of the water. They get their common name from their habit of swimming rapidly in circles when alarmed, and are also notable for their divided eyes which can see both above and below water.

The family includes about 700 species worldwide, in 13 genera.
